Port Orchard Yacht Club

Location

Port Orchard Yacht Club is located on the south side of Sinclair Inlet, across the waterway from the Bremerton Naval Ship Yard.  388 feet of reciprocal guest dock is available along the outside of the yacht club northern float (breakwater) and is indicated by yellow signs. Be aware of the 500 feet buffer zone around all naval facilities and vessels.

Length of Stay

The first three days of each stay are free. Utility hook up is $2 for electricity. Additional days cost $5 and must have prior approval of the commodore or a Board of Trustees member. 14 total days per calendar year are permissible.

Procedures

Contact one of the members at the main float for registration and a guest key (a deposit of $3 is required).  If a member is not available please register at the visitor kiosk located on M dock north of the approach dock. Overflow is accommodated with vacant member slips, permission for which must be granted by a club officer. (In case of impending storm, protected moorage will be made available; in such an emergency, any POYC club member can assist you.)

• Downtown Port Orchard 3/4 mile east.

• Two full service marine repair facilities with haulout, a marine store, and fuel are nearby.
