Daysailers are larger boats that can accomodate 4-6 people. They are accessible with Double-Handed ratings. These are a great way to take out some friends--as long as you (a WYC member) is on the boat, your friends do NOT also have to be members.

We have two Pearson Ensigns named Puffin and Oh Be Joyful. They are 22 foot keelboats that are very stable, easy to rig, and great to take out friends--they can fit 5-7 people!

J 22 - Intermediate DH Rating

The J22 is a very responsive performance-oriented 22 foot keel boat that races with a crew of 3, but can fit 4-5 people. It has a draft of 3.8 feet, displacement of 1790 lbs, ballast of 700 lbs and sail area of 223 sq ft. The mainsail and jib are stored in a single bag in the sail locker.

E-Scow - Intermediate DH w/rig Rating
The e-scow is a one-design performance 28 foot sailboat that races with a crew of 3-4 sailors. The boat has two retractable bilge boards, dual rudders and running back stays. The boat has a beam of nearly 7 feet, a combined main and jib sail area of 323 sq ft, and symmetric spinnaker with an additional 550 sq ft. This is a fast boat that is fully powered in moderate breeze.
