Meetings are usually held every 2 weeks. We discuss where the club is going, you can propose changes,
voice your opinion, and all student members can vote!
WHERE: WAC (Summer) and HUB (Fall/Winter)
WHEN: Every other Monday at 6:30 PM
There's snacks and drinks available during plus no-host libations on the Ave afterwards!
Our club runs solely on volunteers...if it's broke, we must fix it!
work parties are essential to keep our fleets in good running order. Plus we eat some BBQ, and
socialize. All new members are encouraged to come to work parties even if you are new to boat maintenance because we have the tools, we just need your willing hands.
Stay tuned to the wyc_info list (sign up on our Email Lists page) because each work party will be announced.
||New Members Orientation
We will be welcoming New Members to the WYC with a BBQ and sailing afterwards. This is a great way to get to know more people and become connected!

||Dawg Daze Open House
We introduce the campus at large to our facilities and sailing in an Open House format.
12:00 PM–5:00 PM (Boats leave the dock every half hour for 30-90 minute sails)
Take a sail on Union Bay! Feel the wind on your face, and the spray of the sea, and enjoy a spectacular view of Husky Stadium. You can also join the yacht club and learn to sail as you voyage around the bay. Free lake sails and free food!
New members are welcome to
join our informal dinghy racing (held regularly during the warmer
months) and club-wide regattas. If you don't know how to sail yet, you
can crew for an experienced skipper. If you're just new to racing, we
can show you the basics.
